Permanent LED lighting is a low-profile track mounted along your roofline, tucked under the eave or fascia. Inside the track are small LED lights spaced evenly along the run. Each one can be set to its own color and brightness, which is what lets the same system do soft warm white in March and red, white and blue in July.

The track is matched to your trim color, so during the day it reads as part of the house rather than as a string of bulbs. At night it lights the roofline cleanly, with the light washing down the wall instead of glaring out at the street.

Hanging holiday lights every year means a ladder, a cold Saturday, a box of strands where half of them no longer work, and doing it all again in reverse a few weeks later. A permanent system removes that job entirely. When the season changes you open the app and pick a different look.

It also earns its keep outside of December. Most owners run a warm white accent most nights, which adds curb appeal and keeps the front of the house lit without a floodlight.
